Bikini Katie Productions burst on to the arts scene in 2013 with the premiere of Bikini Advertising Space, a bring your own venue performance art experience, and has only grown since then!
WHAT WE DO
Bikini Advertising Space continues to run every Orlando Fringe (over a decade!), and made appearances at Chicago Fringe and Indy Fringe. In addition, Bikini Katie Productions has produced shows like Beneath the Bikini (an Award-Winning solo storytelling Cabaret), Ladies Room: The Musical (a hit 30 minute musical that took place in an actual ladies room), Tombmates (an Odd Couple-esce play about two dead English queens), A One Woman Titanic Parody in 59 Minutes or Less (an Award-Winning solo comedy retelling of the 1997 movie Titanic), and Intimi(Dating): A Cabaret About Sex and Dating (a hit cabaret that spills some piping hot tea). In 2024, Bikini Katie Productions took the show to Tampa, Ottawa, and Kansas City, and had a GREAT response!
Tampa Fringe: *Sold Out Show!* & *Winner- Copyright InFRINGEment Award (for best parody)*
Ottawa Fringe: *Largest Audience of the entire festival!*
Kansas City Fringe: *Winner- Fringiest Show!*
And this is after selling out shows at the Orlando Fringe in 2023, and selling out the entire RUN of FestN4 in January, earning the Patron's Pick Award!
In 2025 the show had a special encore with Tampa Fringe for Titanic's anniversary, and, most recently, it performed for a wedding in April this year! So... what's next for the show?

Description: It's been 84 years... or at least over 28 since James Cameron's nautical masterpiece sailed into movie theaters! Now watch actor, and actual Titanic historian, Katie Thayer perform the entire 3 hour and 14 minute blockbuster... by herself... in 59 minutes or less! This laugh out loud comedy will have you feeling like the King of the World! Your heart will go on a journey bigger than the Mauretania full of your favorite movie lines, actual historical commentary, and Katie will address the infamous "door debate," putting it to rest, once and for all. Oh, and there's a splash zone.
Come see the show that The Orlando Sentinel said had "the best double-sided wig work since Broadway's 'Jekyll & Hyde," and The Orlando Weekly said was "making me laugh hard enough to choke on my beer." You'll never let go of the laughs!

Additional info: Katie Thayer is a real Titanic historian. She has worked at a Titanic museum since 2017, and has been studying Titanic even longer. Not only is the show funny (and, oh boy, do we have a lot of reviews saying it's funny!) but it's also factually correct.
Intimi(Dating): A Cabaret About Sex and Dating made its US debut!
Katie Thayer debuted her newest cabaret that's all about sex and dating in Ottawa last June, and it was a HIT! Not only did she sell out her first show, she sold out almost her entire 8 show run!
Most recently, Intimi(Dating) took the Orlando Fringe by storm, selling out two shows in a larger venue and getting some incredible press:

Looking for the Fringiest way to advertise? Look no further than Bikini Advertising Space, a bring your own venue performance art experience! We mostly stick to Orlando Fringe, but we've done a handful of other Fringes, and even a wedding! Let us know what you have in mind!
For Orlando Fringe we walk around and sell ad space on our bodies, by the part by the day. On weekdays we're at The Fringe grounds from 5: 00pm to midnight, and on weekends we are typically there from 1:00pm to 10:00pm.
Reservations for this year's Fringe will open up the day of the local teaser show in April. Keep an eye out for exact times and this year's price grid on our Instagram or Facebook, and send us a message if you'd like to bring Bikini Advertising Space to your event!
